Jiu Fen is the real life inspiration for the Studio Ghibli movie 'Spirited Away'. Fact of the day for ya. This place is one of my favorite place in Taiwan to go on a day trip with out-of-towners or a mini-getaway with my family. We hike a nearby trail and then go to the old street to eat and shop all the way up the hill where a fantastic view awaits us.
