I heart Wkds! Flea markets, street fairs, food food shop!

Our Saturday was spent downtown, midtown, east to the west...
We started at Hester Street fair down in the lower East side.
Local designers and vendors sell their prized items. Stylists and locals sell their designer filled closets ...great finds!
Handmade jewelry, cards and shirts all for sale!

Luke's lobster roll was my first lobster roll ever! They were at the street fair! What a surprise fresh chilled garlic zested lobster on butter soaked hot dog bread can do! 14$. We went to the actual shop to get our mouths on more later on the week!

Flushings chinatown is amaaazingly big and barely any English signs!
I satisfied my Taiwanese street food cravings a bit with some AChung oyster rice vermicelli, oyster pancake, porc stew on rice and some shaved ice. All at 3X the price we would pay in Taiwan...

On Sunday, after a failed trip to DiFara's since it was closed, we went to brunch at The Farm on Adderley which is voted top brunch place in town. I think I've had better but I guess nothing beats fresh produce from the farm to your plate.

They had one of the art piece from one of Dave's fav artist we saw at the Hester Street Fair from the previous day.

We passed by midtown to get my shoes and got some free ice cream from Ben and Jerry's! Dave was happy!

Before going back to Hester Fair again to eat more ice cream and lobster rolls, we went to check out Hell's kitchen flea market because I thought that's the same flea market where CArrie Bradshaw found her Carrie necklace. It's not.
I bought an antique key and an old Mexico-made dark wood drawers for... not sure yet.
